I want this issue settled once and for all. See, I can no longer think for myself, I rely upon the collective wisdom of the blog community.
Is “the wedding shower” and “the baby shower” really supposed to include the men? I grew up in the context of this being something the ladies did for the new bride - something the ladies did for the new mom.
I’m for equality and all that but a shower on a Sunday afternoon? One which I am expected to attend - in the middle of football season no less? That’s just not right.
