In today’s post I want to conduct a little experiment. Read the following bible verse. Reflect on it and tell me what you notice, what captures your attention?

Ephesians 1:18-21 (NIV) I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

This is not an IQ test or a test of our spirituality. Our comments on other issues and previous posts should have made that quite obvious! Probably most of us will glean different ideas. There is a specific thing in this text I’m curious to see if anyone notices.

Have fun. Use a # 2 pencil as you leave your comments. Feel free to discuss amongst yourselves - this is an open book non-exam.
