Life Is Like A Box of Swiss Chocolates

With help that I greatly appreciate from a few others I have completed packing my office. The flooding forced the packing to occur a head of schedule. That will probably work out to be a good thing in the long run. All that is left is to remove my desk, credenza, computer desk AND my fish tank. I’m thinking with all the water the office took on (4 inches to be exact) I should just drain the tank onto the floor. The news we got yesterday from the insurance company was this: You are not covered. You don’t have a flood policy.
The Oregon contigency left Tuesday and the Swiss contigency arrived yesterday afternoon. I have yet to see (or taste) the chocolate. I may have to start rummaging through some suitcases.
Some appropriate thoughts for the day:
Psalms 124 (NCV) What if the LORD had not been on our side? What if the LORD had not been on our side when we were attacked? When they were angry with us, they would have swallowed us alive. They would have been like a flood drowning us; they would have poured over us like a river. They would have swept us away like a mighty stream. Praise the LORD, who did not let them chew us up. We escaped like a bird from the hunter’s trap. The trap broke, and we escaped. Our help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
