Mexico Mission (Day 2)

Posted by: Randy in Blog Thoughts Add comments

Another great work day.  We began the stages of the detail stuff.  Not my cup of tea but necessary in the process.  A lot of little cuts and angled nailing to put in the rafter blocks and other reinforcements.

So here is our progress report for day 2:  We finished all the interior walls.  The rafters are in place and we managed to put on half of the plywood roof decking.  The electrical wiring is 3/4 finished.  We began hanging sheet rock in the bedroom.

It’s looking good. Interestingly, I’ve always thought the framed house looked better than the finished house! But I love looking at the progress of framing one.

It looks great! I pray that the work continues to come along this way. God bless you all.
