The real estate listing contest has been extended through the weekend. I’m still waiting for some specific entries.
Today I’m taking a sabbath from the paying job and going to try and make a dent in the garage and a couple of rooms in the house. Probably time to make it look like we moved in and aren’t getting ready to move out. I’ll wait for the kids to get out of school and play some basketball with them on the 8 and 1/2 foot rim. I’m like a bball deity at that height.
Plunked down more clams than I wanted to on a stinking lawnmower today. The whole time I’m thinking, "man think of what I could do with this money at the Gtr Cntr."
Speaking of Gtr Cntr (as a devout follower we do not use the vowels in written form to honor our source of goodness) there is not one in Stockton. A detail I should have investigated prior to relocating.

Lisa and I moved into our house about 8 years ago. There are still a couple of boxes I think.

Bummer re: Gtr Cntr. Might be worth it to them for us to find out what is involved in petitioning a GC in a specific location. If they knew how much you’d spend, they’d put on in an one of the empty meth labs just down the street from you!
We moved to LB 13-1/2 years ago and still have a few things left to unpack.

Wait a minute - extending the contest? Waiting for “specific entries?” “Fix, Fix, I say!” As in I want my fix of Swiss Chocalate.
Boxes - I’ve been in my house 8 years and I sitll have them as well. Forget the boxes - play some hoops with the kiddos.

Once I heard some people found some old relatives they thought had moved away when the finally unpacked those 8-yr-old boxes.
Best of luck…

Unpacking all your boxes after a move is probably like selling the last of your baby gear in a garage sale - a month later your wife becomes pregnant (thus a third child
). If you finally unpack the last box, you will probably learn you have to move the next week.
