We just came back from the graveside service for Beth’s grandmother. The service went well and because he won’t tell you (I will) Greg did a tremendous job. We are now gathering in the Smith backyard where many a tri-tip has been grilled and served. The backyard is set up with tables and the party will soon begin. The atmosphere and climate of these gatherings is certainly infused with faith, hope, and love.

Thanks for the news. Woke up during the night and had you all in my thoughts.
A big thanks to Greg.

One of the gifts Greg has are empathy and (I guess that’s 2 gifts) being able to comfort those that are bereaved. I have witnessed first hand at the funerals of my two parents and his very on mother. I’m glad the Lord sent Greg to be with you, Beth, and the family during this time.
BTW – No fair mentioning tri-tip before lunch.

The Smith family has been a huge blessing to my life … and that was before I met you, Randy. It was great, even in the context of the celebration of a life well lived, to spend a few minutes with you. Tell Reece I also thoroughly enjoyed playing pass and punt football with him. It just got too dark too soon.
Best tri-tip and chicken I’ve ever put in my mouth!
