It’s Friday and we started the morning at Krispy Kreme. I did pause for a second praying to God thanking him for the food - unsure if donuts can truly be classified as food.
The kids have been having half days since Wednesday due to the ever popular parent / teacher conference. The kids (and the administration I’ve noticed) have a different attitude about life in general with only half a day of school. It is a good attitude and the difference is palpable.
So, that makes me wonder if school goes as long as it does because it needs to closely match the work schedule of adults? Why can’t we work half a day and spend the other half being a kid again (I mean being with our kids)?

Are you kidding me? You’re advocating we spend a half day at work? That would more than double my time in the office. This blog is sheer heresy!!
While I’m at it, Krispy Kreme donuts are not a food. They are an act of worship.
When can I tender my resignation so I can join your school’s staff?
I’m on board too, Cecil.
