Have you ever wondered how many of you are out there?  Does someone famous share your name?  Did your parents name you after someone famous?  When you try to sign up for an email account has someone with your name beat you to it?

   Here are my numbers:
   1. 124,487 people in U.S. with first name of “Cecil.”
   2. “Cecil” is the 455th most popular first name.
   3. 273 people in the U.S. with the name of “Cecil Walker.”

   Does that make me “rare?”

   2535 with my real first name. Only about 220 something with my fake first name.

   There are 230 with Kristi White; only 11 of Kristi Cash (my maiden name).

   I wonder about this database, though. Checking on my kids’ names, Connor got a big 0, because it says this name “is relatively uncommon”. Have they walked into any pre-schools in America recently?
