Ever wonder what gets done in that time between Christmas and New Years?
Sure, we expect the basics of civilization to continue such things like garbage service, cable and our favorite restaurant.
We expect police officers, fire and medical personnel to do their jobs.
The staff at the movie theater or rental place need to work so we can watch movies.
Anyone else?

In my small world, death and dying. Had a funeral this morning (which took up most of yesterday and today) … returned from the cemetery, had lunch, and then rushed to the ICU at a local hospital where one of our former elders is dying from a stroke.

Water and Stooge lovers hit some nails on the head. Here, everyone but government folks are working. Sort of.

Preachers have to keep preaching. I guess Greg sort of got that one, huh?
The financial industry, such as banks, have to be open. And, hey, even government is working here, Brady. I’m at work, after all!
Retailers have to keep working, because people have to do all that taking-back and exchanging!
