Looking for that next church campaign for 2007?
Been there, done that with 40 days or more?
Can’t remember the five purposes anymore?
Have I got a church campaign idea for you!
Click here to check it out but make sure you come back and let me know what you think.
Who knows what other movies we could mine for spiritual truth?

The music by itself pumps me up, even without a story to go with it!
I kept following menu buttons in the site waiting for a “gotcha!” to pop up. Surely this is a spoof, isn’t it? I like a good Rocky movie as much as the next guy, but surely not with small group discussion guides.
I stand amazed. Therefore I’m going to go sit on that bench under the tree, up there in your banner, and eat some chocolates.
(For the record I thought Gump was one of the most maudlin, sappy, over-sentimental movies ever. I have to go take a shower now and scrub my ears really hard to get the words out of my head)
Puck sent me an email yesterday about FoxFaith willing to give, free of charge, a dish and receiver to churches so preachers can preview movies Fox Network thinks would be good for churches to support.
Here’s a church campaign for us: Christ in me.
Hey Adrian! Where you goin’ to church this Sunday?
Seems like “rocky” theology to me. I wouldn’t want the devil to “punch out” your lights.
Talk about washing out your ears!
. . . Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Peace.
How about a title to a sermon about the finality of Heaven and Hell:
“Ain’t gonna be a rematch.â€
I would like to say I beg you to deny it, but clearly I just saw it for myself. And now I need aspirin.
Odd way to promote his movie, at the very least.
If you don’t want your faith or walk with Jesus to go any deeper or be any more meaningful than a pep rally, this would be a perfect fit.
I’m going to take another, closer, look at Robin Hood: Men in Tights. I’m sure there’s some good theology in there. Just gotta be!
That’s it. In Greg’s honor I am officially going to rent Robin Hood: Men In Tights. It had better be funny though.
