You’ve been hit up before. We all have. Worthy cause after worthy cause talking about how each little bit helps.
I gave $20 for a coupon book (to help kids go to college) and ended up with a subscription to a regional newspaper. I still haven’t figured that one out.
I pledged $20 to get someone out of fake jail to benefit Muscular Dystrophy.
I gave $5 once to an organization that spent at least $45 thanking me for my $5 donation. I’m not math major but those numbers don’t add up.
Recently, however, I discovered a most worthy cause - a cause we can all get behind and support. Yes, my friends, it’s the buy Randy a new guitar fund! Not just any guitar, mind you, keep reading to discover the name of the guitar.
The buy Randy a new guitar fund promises to bring hours of therapy and enjoyment while teaching the world to sing - in almost perfect enharmonic jubilee. Now before you dismiss this worthy cause consider that this guitar company and guitar brand is fitting for one like me and my profession.
Ready for it?
Randy needs a REVEREND guitar. The name rings true doesn’t it? It just makes perfect sense for a "reverend" to have a reverend guitar. And Manta Ray? How cool is that?
When you make a donation to the buy Randy a reverend guitar fund I promise not to spend $45 thanking you for your generosity. So come on, dig deep, every little bit makes a difference, needy reverends are standing by.

Though that is a nice looking guitar, I will stick w/ the T-5 dream as I’m pretty confident the "T" stands for "theos" though I’m not too sure exactly what the "5" stands for. I’m thinking it may be a prophetic sign for me to own one as soon as possible.Speaking of "the rev" and guitars, I’m headed to GC today to RETURN two Taylors. I brought a second one home to compare it to one I picked up last week and decided I didn’t need nor want either one of them. I love Taylor guitars, but their lower end guitars are not too impressive. Actually the lower end epiphone sounds / plays better than the lower end Taylor.Meaning? I was designed by our Creator to own the higher end guitars. I think anyone can see that. But I’ll match penny for dollar every contribution you get from your appeal.

Sorry brother, I have already sunk my money world into the "buy Keith a new drum kit" fund. I love the tobacco sunburst color on that guitar. If your coC, can you accept a guitar with the name "Reverend?" Wouldn’t you have to have the name "Minister" on it? For the "Pastor" guitar would not be acceptable either. Let’s get it right brother.

I’d pitch in if it got me a concert from the famous Wray Praise Band. Book a Portland gig and I’ll be your first sponsor.

I think discernment is a gift of the Holy Spirit. He seems to be telling me that this is a bunch of baloney. But it was a good try…

Ha! Let’s get the group together at Pepperdine this year and take a vote! I’m guessing your REVEREND Guitar money may get funneled toward some tri-tip!
Peace.

A little late posting here, but I have an indirect donation to your guitar fund. It seems there is a proposal in the California Assembly that will give you a percentage tax credit against your state income taxes if you purchase that hybrid car you’ve been eyeing. Perhaps as high as 10%. So, spend $25K for that Prius and get a $2,500 income tax credit. That would buy a few Reverends…….err, Reverend guitars.
