We survived the volleyball game without any physical injuries and had a great time. The atmosphere was electric. Some of the teachers told their students they had to cheer for the staff or suffer the wrath of extra homework. Don’t you just love applied mathematics? We took game one, narrowly "lost" game two and came back for the convincing win in game three.
On Saturday Reese and I attended one of the final home games of the Oakland Athletics. We couldn’t pass up the invitation because the seats were in a luxury box. I thought I could get used to that lifestyle until we ordered food. All I’m going to say is $12 for a six pack of Dr. Pepper is criminal.
On Sunday (afternoon) Madison and I went fishing with a friend from her softball team. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the water. The bonus was Madison outfishing everyone.
