The volleyball team closed out their perfect season by winning the tournament. Congratulations to the SCS Lady Eagles.
Unfortunately the SCS soccer team (of which Reese is a member) didn’t fare so well in the tournament. They played hard and the year with second place in league and 5th place in the tournament.
The did get to miss a whole day of school playing a game so that had to count for something, right?

When I was in 9th grade, we were off from school for a Bible School tourney … our team played the top ranked team and came within 70 points of tying them! But it was definitely worth getting out of school even if the score was a mere 100-30.
Congrats to a good season for both of your kiddos!

I am excited for the kids. Glad they did well AND got out of school. I just noticed, even though you’d written about it, that M. played for the Sierra Eagles!!! I SANG for the Sierra Junior High Eagles, and even lettered.
