If a minister sets out to plumb two new sinks in his kitchen . . .
. . . how long will it take?
. . . how much will he spend?
. . . which commands will he violate?
. . . how many "careless words" will he mutter?

Is there a prize for the one who guesses the closest?
3 hours…
$150, not including the sinks…
#3, #5, and #10…
13…

Don’t expect to use the sinks this month
An amount directly proportionate to the amount you simply cannot afford to spend at this time
Enough to get you fired if truth (see previous blog on truth) were known
Enough to require the sacrifice (burnt offering) of at least a turtle dove

Too long.
More than he wants to.
Several.
Depends on whether his children are within hearing distance.

Longer than a pipe dream.
More than a week’s supply of Sonny’s bbq.
The ones Moses did when he hit that rock and water came out.
The amount is “plumb” too many to quantify.

All of those questions apply to sermon preparation too…
