Please Make More

The prayer of a second grader today in chapel:

um God be with the sick people, um thank you for our school, thank you for our parents, be with the instinct (extinct) animals, please make more so we can enjoy them.  Amen.

Love it - the kid sounds like he has my kind of “random” mind.

That’s one of the best prayers I’ve heard yet today. It’ll preach, won’t it?

does have four points and a conclusion (three if you put sick people and parents together)… and to transcript it with commas instead of periods gives it an interesting perspective…make more sick people, schools, parents, and animals so we can enjoy them.

it is a very sweet prayer..

When David was 7 years old he wrote down a prayer request at church and then turned it in.

    His request?

“I don’t want to sit by Becky.”

Fortunately he was never called upon for public prayer when he was 7 years old…that I know of.

Did you catch what he said at the end? “God, I love you so much!” His teacher said he says that a lot. Too sweet!
