Curious Career Choice
We spent a fair amount of time pulling the kids around the lake on a sport performance tube.
The boy demonstrated an uncanny aptitude for the task.
He absolutely loved it.
He dared us to try and maneuver him off the tube.
We were successful a few times but generally he hung on and rode it out.
I wish I had a picture of the grin on his face each time he got back into the boat.
As we packed up to leave he asked if there was such a thing as a professional tube rider and if there was that’s what he wanted to be.
What’s your off the wall dream career?
I want to be a professional fisherman!

I always wanted to be either a preacher or a funeral director!
I would like to be the lead guitarist for Van Halen, but I guess they would have to change their band’s name. Perhaps a back up guitaist?
Last summer we took our vacation in Philly & central PA. In rural PA we took a tour of a potato chip factory that was fascinating. My oldest said he’d found his dream job and that they could even just pay him in chips.
I think it was the hair nets as a fashion statement that was irresistable.
I would have my own syndicated live radio show on NPR. My weekly guest? Dr. Wray, of course.
What day would be best for you?
Starting Point Guard for the Celtics or P.A. Announcer for any sports team.
Taster in a chocolate cheesecake factory!
