Heat Wave

We hit 104 yesterday and expect to hit 106 today.

Forget all that nonsense about dry heat versus humid heat, it’s heat hot.

Yours is one of the blogs I read everyday. You write interesting and funny “stuff”. However, I must say that today you missed it with the nonsense comment about dry heat. I lived in Stockton almost 20 years and I have lived in Phoenix for almost that long and believe me dry heat does make a difference. I hated the Stockton heat but I loved the evenings!

We haven’t hit triple digits, yet, temperature-wise. But then they add in the “heat index,” and I think we may have reached them in that. A favorite saying in this area is “it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity!” But, to me, mostly hot is hot. I feel for you………

Now add to those temperatures the task of moving a house full of furniture and you’re in our world last Saturday through Tuesday. It was brutal, but I did lose 15 pounds.
