Math Wiz
The words math wiz have never been used in a sentence to describe my mathematical prowess.
Last night I was looking over a standardized math test and was amazed at how well my kids understand the problems and how easy the problems seem to be for them.
It was also a delight to see how patient the oldest child was in explaining the problems (and how to solve them) to dear ol’ dad.
When all was said and done I felt pretty good about my 72%!
It was annoying that I missed 4 questions because I wasn’t paying attention to the question.
Just wait until the standardized bible (or fishing) test makes the rounds!

Yes. One of the most important things about life is reading the questions properly. At least that’s what my 5th grade teacher used to tell me.
It is amazing as to the level of math our kiddos are facing and performing today.
FYI: You can always call me when you need a math problem explained.
I always hated math with questions that had to be read. Didn’t like plain ol’ numbers much better!
i am terrible at math, embarrassingly so…considering i lost no money for the bank when i was a teller is amazing..or saying something other completely.
we’re looking at multiplication tables for our 3rd grader next year. she doesn’t seem to care much for math, but she does really well at what i had difficulty with: word problems…her teacher said that she was very creative with her solving, but they were always right.. he said it with an encouraging smile so…
